Electronic Crossover

An electronic crossover is also referred to as an active crossover because it requires power and ground connections in order to do its job.

It is installed between your receiver or equalizer and your amplifiers. An active crossover filters and directs the frequency bands in the low level signal before they reach the amplifiers.

This saves your amps from doing unnecessary work, making your system more efficient. Active crossovers are usually adjustable, giving you more flexibility and letting you tweak the sound to meet the needs of your vehicle. They often have other features like bass boost and let you independently control the relative volume of different types of speakers.

Ada different kalau kau pasang electronic crossover. Tapi kena ingat crossover ngan electronic crossover 2 benda yang lain. Crossover pakai passive (no additional power supply) 2-way (dia biasa duduk sebelum component speaker), electronic crossover plak 3-way (biasa pasang sebelum power amp). Jadik kalau ko cuma ade crossover jer tak guna gak, tak bleh adjust ko punya frequency range.

Pasal soalan low ngan high frequency aku mengesyorkan better pakai e.crossover sebab low frequency range use a lot of power, ko tak burden ko punya amp, fine tuning etc.

ok....let's say about Lanzar electronic Crossover...one of the famous elect. crossover in the world.....

memang elok sebab penggunaan electroni crossover ini boleh menstabilkan keluaran db pada sub woofer dan menghasilkan sistem surround.....banyak lagi faedahnya tapi kalau sekadar main ICE untuk SPL.....pre-amp pun dah cukup.......kalau main ICE untuk SQ....memang sesuai pakai electronic crossover
