1). if i wan to fit L7 to a kenari and upgrade, izit similar like upgrading a L5?
2). izit hard to find sparepart for L7?
3). what is the difference between L7 and L5 if i choose to transplant to a kenari?
Some of opinions...
L7 engine (EF-DET) is similar to Kelisa or Kenari (3-cylinder DOHC)...except the capacity is 660 and turbocharged...my fren currently using it inside his Kelisa...by the point, the engine spare parts is available anywhere because of the similarity of the engine...the wiring oso isn't a headache at all...
but L900 engine is a 4 cylinder DOHC model (JB-DET)...for the spare parts...i donno where to get the spare parts here in Malaysia....if u lucky, u can sourced it through a chop shop or selected spare part shop..
we did actually installed the EF-DET inside a Kenari, coupled it with 4 speed autobox from L900...and the engine performs well...but we didn't get the reports to published in my blog coz of the lack of digital camera back then...he he he!

bolt on turbo kat kelisa ade byk.. ak dgr dr org yg main kelisa turbo nie.. kalo ko nak bolt kelisa mcm turbo stendet.. anggaran brg2 nak wat dlm rm1000... tp kalo da wat smpi 100% maybe sambai rm4k.. timmo, aku rs laa ape kate kelisa tu ko xyah wat sbb takut ade risiko.. tapi ko wat kete kancil tue.. makne nyer ko n abg ko brkongsi wat turbo kat kancil tu.. ikot laa aku cume bg cadangan jew..

aku rs klau bot nie leceh ckit sbb ko kene ad management yg bek.pastu piston kene tkr lg,metal head gasket lg.klau kenari or kelisa mmg dh metal gasket tp nipis.lg st dpd pe yg aku sevey la rmi kate ecu enjin kelisa or kenari yg 2nd gen punye xleh bot.sori klau slh...tp xnafikn la if buat n berjaya mmg puas ati...ni dpd pe yg org2 kt la...

ermm... btul2 tu apex3647... kalo kelisa nak BOT tanpa mnukar piston boost yg boleh dpt hanya 0.5bar shj xlebih dr itu... melainkan tuka piston...da tuka piston baru best.. metal gasket ni utk boost yg lebey dr 1.0bar..so mmg bagus kalo wat... xde hal kalo nak boost 1.5...
tapi kebykkan org kalo nak jd monster die hanya amek blok kelisa shj.....
