try to summarize about the conversion for 1000T and compile my knoledge and what abg dude tell me and others
what u need is L2 complete halfcut..gearbox not necessary if u want to use ur current gearbox, and 1000 block.
what's very basic 1000T made of :
1) 1000 block (have to rebore 1.0mm each cylinders if want to use 2E's pistons - 73.0mm)
2) 850 conrod
3) 850 crankshaft ----->> abg dude says this setup is better as 850 crank got oil passage hole
4) 2E pistons or 4E (74mm - can fit or not i dunno) or any piston that fits
5) L2 complete wiring + ECU
6) 2E piston ring, wrist pin and so on ---------------->>>> i'm not sure
7) L2 complete head including cam (plug and play), if u want PnP also can
metal gasket (have to cut unnecessary part - mine is like this) *optional
9) L2 extractor, have to make flange if u change to different turbo (*optional)
10) L2 throttle body + intake, can upgrade to bigger TB (*optional)
11) L2 distributor, coil, spark plug and so on, can upgrade to MSD hehe (*optional)
12) SAFC *optional
13) external high capacity fuel pump..better use 1 than 2 in series. but 2 parallel is good...just like coconut hehehe. use L2 stock fuel pump in tank also can i think
14) L2 fuel rail with stock fuel regulator, can use adj. fuel reg also (*optional)
15) stock L2 injectors, no need extra. can use extra or bigger injectors (*optional)
16) stock L2 turbo, (high low rpm torque but die fast and damage fast too), u can use any bigger turbo (*optional)
17) stock L2 top mount intercooler, can use any bigger intercooler and put front mount (*optional)
1 L2/850/660/auto gearbox..or any gearbox that fit
19) oil cooler (*optional)
20) all L2 sensor (important!!)
21) 850 timing belt + tensioner bearing
22) clutch set (if auto no need la kekeke)

3) drill hole at 1000 oil sump for turbo return line
4) close the 1000 block's extra hole with copper (tembaga) - abg dude says so
4) fit in 2E piston with ring, wrist pin and so on to 850 conrod that attach to 850 crankshaft
5) fit in L2 head onto 1000 block with metal gasket (optional) in between. dun forget copper spray if put metal gasket
6) fit in all L2 stuff like turbo, intercooler, extractor, intake manifold, TB and so on
7) get ur engine an exhaust set (dumpipe, downpipe, piping and so on)
get ur engine an intake set (air filter, intercooler pipe and hoses if needed)
9) fit in ALL L2 sensor including MAP sensor, O2 sensor+exhaust temp sensor (put in ur downpipe), knock sensor (on 1000 block), throttle sensor (at TB) and so on if got
10) fit in all L2 wiring and ECU
i think this is enough to run ur 1000T, becos basically 1000T basic and 850T basic is almost alike. setup is the same.
only if u got extra money then u can change to bigger turbo + intercooler, haltech motec and so on.
