hi im metal miki (jonny) from northern ireland, stumbled across this site by accident but glad i did. been lookin at some of the rides you guys have and i'm well impressed. i have a 1999 proton coupe/putra and love it. are any of you from the putra collective/proton owners club, if not check out www.protonownersclub.co.uk the guys their would love to see some of your rides. been doin alot of work on my coupe since i got it 6months ago. so far this is the list of extras. front and rear strut braces, magnecore ht leads, K&N induction kit, de-cat, custom high grade stainless steel exhaust system, momo cobra gear knob, jvc ipod and usb headunit, dual audiobhan 12" subs run from a jbl 600watt amp, 17" hi-join oxygen rims i also have sittin in my room ported and polished inlet manifold and a 60mm gto throttle body should have these fitted on monday. have plans to fit the GSR engine at some stage too but not sure if i could afford the insurance right now as it is already really expensive due to where i live. anyway here's some pics i have been waiting ages to get this spoiler fitted and it still aint on

its not no, its my mates 200sx s13, that pic was taken at his house. just a shame the uk model is only an 18t, he really wants a 2.0t
yeah i love my putra, took a year of searchin to actually get one though as they are very rare here. so far we have only 7 confirmed in N. Ireland. just bought a coupe evo front splitter last nite which i'm well happy about as its easier to find a wolly mamoth buried in your garden.

welcome aboard dude, we got new comer with GSR inside..heheh ;D that is good ride you got there, over here same like there, Putra now stop producing and its last batch 2000(if i not mistaken). So its like a most putras now undergo major modification i.e the motor transplant from 1.8GSRT. For your info, there also people change the GSR head to mivec 1.6 head, to get the variable valve kick. here is one of the Radical member's putra

i'm not sure about the Vi kit, but here Putra popular with this type of bodykits called 'Promote' it is an aftermarket kits, some said its one of the kits for Proton rejected. Well its even better if you got huge intercooler to fit in. hahah, good reason to drop in the turbo engine..is it..

yeah i've seen these kits b4. We have a guy on your owners club called dan who works for promote and sends these kits over. They are a good price too although its a 10 week wait for them as shipping takes for ever unless you wanna pay big bucks for air freight. thing is these are common among our members so i want the vi kit to be different.
